The Vision

The role of Viva:
The response of the Christian community to children at risk is larger and more significant than that from any other body. Viva wants to comprehensively demonstrate and document that truth.
We also want people to see for themselves that Viva’s model genuinely impacts lives: when Christians work together to reach out to children, communities can be transformed, problems can be lastingly solved, and the needs of the poor and the oppressed can be met.

Viva's vision statement:
Viva’s vision is for a comprehensive, collaborative, and transformational Christian response to the needs of children at risk worldwide, allowing children, and those working with them, the opportunity to be all that God intends.

Viva's mission statement:
Viva’s mission is to inspire and enable effective collaborations among Christians, providing sustainable solutions to the needs of vulnerable children. This will involve developing an overview of the current work with children at risk, equipping those who are serving them, and further mobilising the Christian community to respond.
