Charlotte joined Viva’s Doorsteps initiative in 2019, bringing 20+ years of experience in teaching and pastoral support work in schools. Doorsteps is a Viva-connected local network in East Oxford. At Doorsteps, the focus is on building partnerships of hope, connecting churches and organisations to respond creatively and practically to the needs of disadvantaged children, young people, and families.  

Charlotte focuses on supporting families with young children by delivering toddler music and new parent support groups and connecting and equipping Early Years voluntary and faith sector practitioners across the county. This is done via the VCS Early Years Network, co-founded in Autumn 2020 together with Home Start, Oxford.
