Eleanor North
Resource Development and Impact Manager

El studied for her undergraduate degree at Oxford and her Master’s at SOAS, with a focus on language and linguistics, particularly mother-tongue literacy in minority and endangered languages.  Before joining Viva, El accumulated 10+ years of work experience in small international development organisations with an Africa focus, partnering with local projects to support them in all aspects of their project cycle management. She lived and worked in Cameroon, South Africa and Kenya during this time. 

Her role in Viva is two-fold: 50% of her time is spent on resource development, writing or updating programme resources for rollout by Viva’s partner networks, and the other 50% is focused on supporting the development and rollout of Viva’s impact.
