Doorsteps Lead Youth Worker, Viva

Hannah has delivered youth work in East Oxford since 2005. She was a placement student with the Christian charity Oxford Youth Works, earning a BA in Youth & Community Work with Applied Theology. After graduating, she worked for Oxford Youth Works, including serving as its director and teaching youth work at the Institute for Children, Youth, and Ministry.  

Hannah networks with practitioners from all sectors (faith, charity, statutory) to work towards the best outcomes for children and young people, providing high-quality youth work to local schools and communities. Projects include Find Your Fire, a partnership project offering young people the opportunity to earn a qualification with the National Open College Network, a young leader’s programme, groups in and out of schools, and the TBK project, exploring the Christian way of life.  Hannah facilitates Soulnet Christian youth workers forum and Passion for Possibilities, and is on the team for 612 Prayer Group, praying for at-risk children, young people and families.She also convenes ‘The Legacy Project’, bringing together young people in their late teens and early twenties who act as cultural advisors.
