Jane has over 25 years of experience in the international NGO sector. Before joining Viva in 2006, she worked with those affected by conflict. This included setting up and coordinating community service and education programmes in refugee camps in Tanzania, Chad, and Zambia and working with communities in countries recovering from conflict.  

Jane is passionate about supporting people who work with the most vulnerable in their communities. Her work with Viva includes developing tools, programmes, and resources for Viva partner network members working with children, including the Quality Improvement System (QIS), child safeguarding, alternative care for children and mentoring.   

Her current role involves leading a team that listens to partner networks, facilitates the sharing of learning, develops programmes, and ensures high-quality resources and programme delivery.
