Michelle has a background in social work and has worked in the South African nonprofit sector for over 20 years. With experience in a broad range of roles, she has developed a keen understanding and practical knowledge of organisational development. She has been working in the international development sector since joining Viva. Michelle’s work in Viva focuses on the capacity-building programme Quality Improvement System (QIS), having developed a passion for the programme while working with Viva’s partner network in Cape Town. 

She now provides strategic, coaching, training and development input with an international reach. Her position also involves facilitating learning and development with Viva’s network partners that are implementing QIS.
