Viva’s model works
– and the experts agree.
Viva has demonstrated that its network model is living up to its promise of “bigger and better outcomes.”
The Sagamore Institute is a highly respected think tank that moves ideas into actions. It brings together scholars, policy experts and innovators to advance solutions to the world’s biggest problems.
Research the Institute carried out asked four questions, and the answer to all of them was “YES.”
Does Viva’s networking model...
... increase the scale of efforts for children? Yes
... improve the quality of service to children? Yes
...cause effective collective action programs that bring positive transformation to children? Yes
…result in a sufficient ‘voice’ that can influence policies for children? Yes
The research confirmed that Viva’s approach leverages the power of grassroots networks to multiply the scale and reach of services.
It improves service quality, nurtures changes in cultural attitudes, and enhances influence on public policy reforms that address the underlying systemic causes of persistent child poverty and abuse.
